A Peek Inside the Open Studio

I should have had the following photos on the blog weeks ago but sometimes life has a way of flying by so fast these days. And there are so many things to share with you....a new puppy...new paintings...new photos. First, for my friends who couldn't be here for the Open Studio in October, I took a few photos early on the Saturday of the event before the crowds showed up and the lighting was still dim outside. By the way thank you crowds, I enjoyed everyone of you who took the time to be here. As always you are the best!

The main room displaying wall to ceiling paintings.

Look up....Erica and I are in the process of wall papering all the maps we can get our hands on to the ceiling. It takes a lot more maps than we first figured. When it's finished you will get to see it for yourself. I'll do a blog post about it.

Three artists, Erica Hanson, Dave Andersen and I collaborated on these paintings. We made a big huge mess painitng up a storm and had a whole lot of fun working on them.

The gift shop inside the studio all decked out with ornaments and Christmas things for the upcoming tree cutting and wreath season here on our farm.

Angel dogs with wire wings in the gift shop. You know how I love em <3 ....angels with fur.

Beautiful dahlias straight from our cutting garden right outside the back door.

Speaking of angel dogs, meet Georgie, our new pup. This was his very first Open Studio, which he slept through almost the whole weekend event.

 The end.
