Birthday and a Giveaway Contest

This weekend I had so much fun celebrating my birthday, thanks to family and friends who helped make it a very special day.

But I must confess the weeks leading up to it were filled with fear and anxiety. This year more than other any other year, I've been having all kinds of doubts about growing one more year older. Fears like will I be loved when I'm wrinkly and gray and so on kept popping into my head. I'm still the same little kid on the inside but the outside keeps evolving and changing into someone I don't really recognize anymore.  Do you know what I mean?

And so birthdays for me are becoming a time to pause and remember the importance of staying present; to take time to be thankful....appreciate every day as a gift.
