5 Things To Do Before Open Studio Tour
It's the first day of the Open Studio Tour and for weeks now I've been making check lists of important things to do. Here's my must do list for today as I get ready to open the doors at 10AM:
1. Put out big easy to see yellow direction signs in front of the studio and on street corners.
2. Make sure there are plenty of yummy cookies (chocolate), a pot of fresh brewed coffee and an enticing selection of tea for refreshments.
3. Have stamp and punch cards handy and ready to pass out to visitors. It's a chance to win one of five $50 Gift Certificates. No purchase required, all you do is visit 7 different studios, have your card stamped and enter!
4. Make sure the studio is stocked with plenty of good things to look at and to purchase, especially gift items.
