Mom, angel lover, a harp player and homemaker. A great back massager when your are feeling blue. She spends her summers tending her flower garden, planting seeds and weeding.
Dad, a builder of buildings, harps and things. He is an inventor whose motto is "never say never". Dad's role has always been breadwinner and provider.
The best part is together they made a family, the glue that holds us together. Thanks Mom and Dad, for being you! Love and hugs always, your daughter, ~Blenda, on your 60th Wedding Anniversary! ~March 2, 2011
Just when daffodils began pushing their delicate fresh stems out of the ground, it snowed here in the Pacific Northwest! All winter long we've had our share of typical Oregon winter weather; overcast skies and buckets of rain, until last week when a soft fluffy blanket of snow cover our landscape for a brief few days.
Zippy, my dear little friend and companion, who just turned 8 years old on February 1st, goes regularly to visit groomer Deb at Deb's Dapper Dogs.
First thing every morning with coffee in hand, I go out the studio to package up the most recent print orders then head to the Christmas gift shop to work on decorating wreaths and waiting on U cut tree costumers. Joe handles the outside and Erica and I do the gift shop. After a family selects and cuts their tree Joe puts it on the tree shaker to shake out loose needles and any stray bugs. Then if it isn't too fat he nets the tree for ease in hauling.
