King Crow Sold to Moonstruck Chocolates

We are pleased to announce the collaboration painting titled "King Crow" has a new home at Moonstruck Chocolate Company's Main Office. This company, located in Portland, Oregon, makes the very best handcrafted artisan chocolates.

I collaborated with 2 other artists, Dave Andersen aka Fruitmandu and Erica Hanson of Post Haste Art, to create this painting of a crow wearing a crown, daisy wreath and black and white striped socks. He is surrounded by a garland of vines in a moonlit sky.

The cool thing is we had collaged pages from an old vintage dictionary into the background to give the painting added texture. At the time we were just creating the piece. We had no idea who would someday own it. Not realizing it until Sally Bany, owner of Moonstruck, called to tell us how serendipitous it was that the definition of  "moonstruck" just happened to be one of the dictionary words. It was meant to be!
